Forget about that old saw about Friday the 13th being unlucky. Mike and Marlene Lavigne of North Mankato bought a new, Victory Red, 2014 Chevy from Mankato Motors last month on Friday the 13th. It turned out their purchase was the 10,000th vehicle sold by the dealership since it opened 5 years ago and and worth $10,000 through a local promotion commemorating that benchmark. Dealerhip owner Dale Schmitt (back) presented the check to the couple on Friday.
