Sweet corn fundraiser 1

Dietrich Rosin bags some of his family’s sweet corn for a customer Monday in the parking lot of the Shell gas station in North Mankato. Rosin, 13, is donating Monday’s sales from the family’s 3-acre plot of corn near Nicollet to his friend Gavin Schuch, an eighth grader receiving treatment for a malignant brain tumor. Rosin will be in the Shell parking lot every day with sweet corn and a donation jar for Schuch “until the corn runs out.”
