Aurora Ignite Mankato Skies

Aurora Borealis can be seen illuminating the sky off of Hwy. 14 at 12:30 am a few miles west of Mankato, they were triggered by an intense coronal mass ejection from the sun, the resulting auroras were strong enough to see as far south as Mankato early Tuesday morning. Photo by Trevor Cokley
