Kris Scott 2

Scott Radtke was born in Minnesota Lake, Minn. After meeting his partner Kris in the cities, they both moved back to Minnesota Lake in 1999 and eventually to Wells, Minn. The couple opened up an antique store in Wells, but they closed the store after Kris' mom's passing. Soon afterwards, Scott's health deteriorated after a series of seizures and in the fall of 2012 he was sent to Mayo to find out what his abdominal pain was and eventually was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and did not have the option to do chemotherapy or surgery. Kris and their friend Diane bought Scott this chair with electronic controls, where he spent most of his time. (Jackson Forderer for MPR)
