Debbie Gjerde, who took VINE's Home Repair class last April, in her garage in Mankato. After her husband passed away seven years ago, she was left with many home repair jobs that she was unfamiliar with. She said the class taught her many things that made her life easier, such as purchasing non-oxygenated gas for her lawnmower, weed whacker and snowblower, but also to know when she is over her head and needs to call a professional.
