No parking in the Government Center ramp

A no parking sign sits next to what’s left of the parking ramp next to the Blue Earth County Government Center as workers begin demolition Friday. The multi-year renovation and addition project to the Blue Earth County Government Center is planned in three phases beginning with the demolition and reconstruction of the parking ramp, followed by a building addition, and finally, the renovation of the existing building. During construction people are encouraged to park along Fifth Street and use the Fifth Street entrance to the building. Signs will direct people to various departments, including the License Center, which will remain in the lower level of the building. Photo by Pat Christman
