Great horned owls at Lowe's

A pair of young great horned owls watch over the Lowe's garden center from atop a pair of pallets. Three chicks have been calling the pallets home this spring until one hopped off of them and had to be moved to a nearby tree by a member of the University of Minnesota Raptor Center. Lowe's employees who have been watching the young raptors with interest say the mother has been close by until recently and hasn't bothered shoppers looking for spring flowers.
