A worker finishes a freshly poured section of sidewalk adjacent to the Adams Street extension between Hope Street and North Victory Drive. The project, which replaces a temporary route that for years ran through the Madison East Center parking lot, was recently opened to traffic. Completion of the missing Adams Street link was prompted by future plans for housing and business development on a 35-acre parcel just north of the new road.
