Andrea Armendariz frees fallen leaves from the frozen curbside as a city crew uses heavy equipment to pcik up leaves Tuesday along North 5th St. The cold and snow made for slow going for the start of the Mankato’s annual leaf pickup but warmer weather in the forecast later in the week should help.
